I recently purchased the Elf Waterproof Pen at my local Target because I am always looking for a liquid eyeliner that is easy to apply. This eyeliner retails for $1 on eyeslipsface.com or I believe that most Target stores also carry a small amount of Elf product in their cosmetics department.
My Target only carries two colors- black and brown. I bought the black color and my first impressions were very good. The felt-tip applicator makes applying the liner quick and easy and it's very good at making both thin and thicker lines. The color is pretty black, I wouldn't say carbon black, but black enough for me! I wish that Target carried more colors because ordering things online can be sort of a hassle with shipping charges and everything.
The Elf website lists the following colors for this product: Coffee, Midnight, Black, Ash, and Plum (which I am dying to have!). The eyeliner wear very well in this very hot and humid weather. I do not notice any smudging on the top lashes, but a little on the bottom. It's definitely not racoonish. :) As for it's waterproof claims, I would definitely not call it waterPROOF, maybe water-resistant and it is very easy to remove with any makeup remover.
Overall this product is definitely worth the price for what you get! So if you're looking for a cheap everyday liquid eyeliner, that's easy to apply, then go out and get the Elf Waterproof Eyeliner Pen!
